Firemans Lift to a Birthday Surprise

Most little boys dream of being a fireman when they grow up. While this is a dream many grow out of in exchange for a les risky career, when you are five, being a fireman is all that is on a boy’s mind. For five year old Sebastian O’Rourke, his dreams became a reality long before anyone ever expected them to.

Young Sebastian was treated to a birthday surprise like no other when he was picked up from school in a chauffeur driven fire engine. The fire engine has been converted from a life saving community tool, to a limousine for birthdays and special occasions, and Sebastian and five of his friends left school in their fire engine limo for the night of their young lives.

The fire engine limousine was also a special surprise for Sebastian’s mum, even though Georgina and her husband Simon had organised the fire engine for their son. However, also waiting inside the fire engine limousine was Mrs O’Rourke’s mother who had been released from hospital for the day, where she was being treated for cancer.

It was also Mrs O’Rourke’s birthday the same day and the surprise of seeing her mother out of the hospital and celebrating with her family was the best present ever. Sebastian and his friends were also excited to be riding in the fire engine limousine and their chauffeur was even dressed as a fireman. The chauffeur also provided the kids with party bags, music and played siren noises.

The fire engine which was the star of the day, actually used to operate in Essex, until it was converted into a limousine. Inside passengers can play music and DVDs and enjoy the party atmosphere created by the strobe lights.
